Water boiling point calculator

Estimate the boiling point of pure water at your elevation or measured air pressure. Compare Celsius, Fahrenheit and Kelvin using the IAPWS saturation equation.

How it works & accuracy

Altitude estimates use a standard-atmosphere pressure model from −500 to 11,000 m; real weather changes pressure. Measured input must be absolute station pressure, not weather-app sea-level pressure. IAPWS-IF97 region 4 converts 20–110 kPa to pure-water saturation temperature. This is not food-safety, sterilization or pressure-cooker guidance.

Can I use this without location permission?

Yes. Enter coordinates manually. A live compass still needs compatible sensors; live sharing needs fresh browser location permission.
