How it works & accuracy
SunCalc models an unobstructed horizon, with sunrise and sunset near a solar altitude of −0.833°. Civil, nautical and astronomical twilight use −6°, −12° and −18°. Weather, refraction, terrain and buildings affect visibility. At high latitudes, some crossings do not occur; missing events are never shown as midnight.
